About
Anna is an Australian artist based in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria. After a 22-year hiatus, she returned to painting through Still Life and Portraiture studies at the Victorian Artists Society, where she developed a strong tonal foundation. While this training was invaluable, Anna has since found a fascination with landscape painting, exploring abstraction and personal interpretations of her local environment. Colour now plays a central role in her work. Influenced by time spent living in France, England and Germany, she is particularly drawn to European tree forms, which lightly inform and shape her visual language.
